Netherlands Fellowships Programme Foreign Student Scholarship


Foreign Student Scholarship Applicants are required to meet both criterions mentioned here as well as at University’s / NFP website:

Ø The candidate should be mid career and not above 50 years ad neither below 27 years of age.

Ø Foreign Student Scholarship Candidates are eligible for a fellowship only if they have been admitted to the Course of their choice and meet all the criteria. Being admitted to more than one course does not mean that the candidate can apply for more than one fellowship. Candidates will have to select one course before applying for a fellowship.

Ø A letter of admission should be in the candidate’s possession well before the embassy’s deadline for submission of fellowship application. Therefore candidates are strongly advised to start the admission procedure as early as possible.

Ø A Foreign Student Scholarship candidate must not have received an NFP fellowship or any other fellowship in the three years prior to the start of the proposed programme (MA, SC or PhD).

Ø The candidate is meeting the English Language proficiency requirement such as provision of IELTS or TOEFL score as mentioned in the NFP website.

Queen Margaret University Postgraduate Foreign Student Scholarship Research Bursaries


Foreign Student Scholarship Research methods training is offered in the first half, but after that there is not taught as such elements - students should manage their own research project under the guidance of a supervisor.

Who can apply?

PhD
Foreign Student Scholarship can be determined candidates for research on specific topics such as the University and / or require financial partner will be awarded. No scholarships for research projects.

Foreign Student Scholarship To be eligible apply for a scholarship the following criteria:

The applicant meets the entry criteria standard for research degrees.
The research proposal is contained in one of the issues.
Candidates may be studying for a part-time or full time, but they must be willing to live within the reach of Edinburgh.
Applicants must be prepared for a promotion in full, not an AED trial.
Candidates may come from the United Kingdom or in any other country.


Foreign Student Scholarship Successful candidates are likely to have a good qualification in the relevant topic: either a first class honours degree or a Masters. Dedication, enthusiasm and strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential.

International applicants and the SORSAS scheme

International applicants are welcome to apply for QMU studentships. Successful candidates will receive the benefits listed above.

Unfortunately the SORSAS funding which had presiously been open to international research students is no longer available.

2011 The de Rohan Foreign Student Scholarship, UK


Foreign Student Scholarship Applications are invited from students registering in the academic year 2011/12 for an MA in Creative Writing, English or History for this scholarship of £5,000. The Foreign Student Scholarship is open to full-time Home, EU and International students.Applicants are invited to fill in and submit the application form. The Foreign Student Scholarship will be awarded to the candidate judged to have the greatest potential to make a difference to their subject, and for whom achieving an MA is likely to contribute significantly to their career and/or personal development. Academic achievement to date will also be taken into account.

Foreign Student Scholarship applications will be assessed on the basis of the statements make in the application and on previous academic achievement and performance by a panel to be convened by the Dean of School.

Tan Kah Kee Postgraduate Foreign Student Scholarship 2011


The Foreign Student Scholarship are open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are pursuing full-time Master degree or PhD in any discipline, regardless of race or religion. Candidates are appraised on their academic achievements, outstanding personal character and bilingual capabilities. The Foreign Student Scholarship will be awarded annually and is bond-free. In line with the spirit of the late Mr Tan Kah Kee’s unfailing community commitment, the importance of contribution to the community cannot be over-emphasized. Not only should the recipients of the award excel in their field of study, but also they should concern for their countrymen and the willingness to serve the community. Many past award recipients Foreign Student Scholarship are now back in Singapore and working in universities and various research institutes, as well as in private and public sectors in Singapore, actively contributing to the development of the nation. The application is open in May every year. Shortlisted applicants will be informed to attend an interview in the month of June or July. Foreign Student Scholarship amount for those studying in overseas or local universities are S$10,000 & S$7,000 respectively.
